Terms and privacy
Short, because the product is short. Last updated 10 September 2026.
The service
usewant.com searches public Reddit posts and comments and reports what people say about a problem. The result is evidence, not advice. We do not promise that an idea will succeed, and we do not promise that Reddit holds an answer for every idea.
Price and refunds
One run costs $5. One run checks one idea. The smallest purchase is $20, which is 4 runs. The largest is 40.
Runs do not expire. A run that fails on our side is not charged. A run that finds little is charged.
All purchases are final. We do not refund unused runs.
Your account and key
Your coding agent creates the account and receives an API key. The key is the account. There is no password and no signup page. We allow one new account per network address per hour.
Keep the key private. If you lose a key you paid with, request a copy at usewant.com/key with your checkout email. A key that never paid has no email on file, so your agent creates a new one. If a key leaks, email us and we rotate it.
Public result pages
Every run gets a result page at usewant.com/runs. The link holds two long random ids, so nobody can guess it. Anyone who has the link can read it. The page shows the idea text you sent, the verdict, and the quotes. Do not send secrets in an idea. Email us to take a page down.
What we store
We store the idea text, the run result, a hash of your key, the network address that created the account, your Stripe customer id, and your checkout email. Stripe handles card details. We never see them.
We use your email for two things: to send your key when you ask for it and to answer removal requests. We do not sell data and we do not send marketing mail.
Reddit content belongs to the people who wrote it. We quote short excerpts and link to the source on every quote.
